Riccardo Brero

I'm a software engineer at , currently shaping the future of payments in Europe. Initially part of thecore team, I worked on critical systems for transaction processing and identity management. I later shifted focus to investment features, driving system architecture and leading the technical foundation for new consumer-facing investment services.

Previously, I was co-founder of , where we focused on building products that pushed the boundaries of design and technology, I led development and product strategy, bringing ideas to life, such as Place that reimagined booking and ordering for shared experiences. Outside of work, I explore programming languages (currently designing Rig, a functional language with dependent types) and write about technology and software(sharing thoughts on simplicity, design, and engineering). I believe great software is built on clarity— and when done right, simplicity becomes a form of art.
